As readers of this blog may know, since January I have been talking about a zine called Canon that deals exhaustively with Comics Journal 210 in 1999, which contained a feature titled “The 100 Best Comics of the Century.” I contributed to this list, and now, 25 years later, an obsessive superfan named Colin Blanchette has been analyzing our “best of” list as a canon-forming exercise.
Blanchette could have been satisfied producing a 125-page zine about the subject, but he wasn’t. He has been producing a series of videos about the list, going through entry by entry to discuss the works. Additionally, he has been interviewing many of the people involved with the original list, including me.
If anyone has the patience to listen to me blather on about comics, I apologize for my terrible audio-visual setup. Neither the built in microphone not the camera are particular good on my computer. I need to upgrade my game!

Thanks for your time and insights, Robert. I'm just about done beating this horse...
