Blood of the Virgin by Sammy Harkham

I wrote about Sammy Harkham’s The Blood of the Virgin last year when the final issue was published. I expected a book collection to follow, which it now has. I know I wrote that Impossible People was the best graphic novel I’d read in 2023, but Blood of the Virgin is just as good. They’ll have to fight it out for top honor. I recommend reading them both, instantly.
