The handling of the Gaetz investigation, the congressional bathroom absurdity, the return of the Bush era denigration of "The Reality Based Community" ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reality-based_community ), where truth is what the richest and most media powerful say it is? Maybe Debord's call for détournement ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D%C3%A9tournement ) in The Society of the Spectacle (from which Baudrillard took much of his ideas) is a key tool. Or maybe it's already been blunted or co-opted by the Spectacularly Capitalist media environment of the past 40 years. Feeling pretty fucked, tonight!
